The screening of documentary ‘Bamidele’ directed by Ed Keazor

The screening of the documentary ‘Bamidele’ directed by Ed Keazor, and produced by Muni King-Keazor, which chronicles the life and work of Dele Sosimi. Post-screening, there shall be a Q&A session with Dele Sosimi in conversation with veteran music journalist Muni King-Keazor.

The evening shall also feature a performance by The Lagos Afro-Funk Collective in ‘The Lagos Jump Session’ featuring Dele Sosimi. 

 A celebration of the Nigerian Highlife, Afrobeat, AfroFunk and Afro-Jazz Revolution of 1965-1995. The Collective features alumni of some of Africa’s foremost Afrobeat/AfroFunk ensembles. Such as Osibisa, Fela Kuti’s Egypt 80, Femi Kuti’s Positive Force, Lagbaja, The Funkees, Wrinkar Experience, Headzfunk and many more.  

They shall be joined by the legendary Dele Sosimi in a featured guest performance.
