Join us for an evening with artist Larry Achiampong, featuring a screening of his film Relic 2 from the British Council collection, followed by a conversation with the curators of the exhibition in transit under another sky E.N. Mirembe & Rosie Olang’ Odhiambo.

The event will also feature a reading of Achiampong’s new monograph, If It Don’t Exist, Build It, offering a deeper insight into his multidisciplinary practice spanning film, sound, performance, and installation. Relic 2 continues Achiampong’s exploration of postcolonial identities, imagined futures, and ancestral memory through the lens of speculative fiction.

Set within the broader context of the Relic Traveller project, the film reflects on exile, belonging, and the enduring legacies of colonialism. This event is free and open to the public. Copies of the monograph will be available for purchase.
