Poetic Temple’s P.O.E.T.s x The Africa Centre Fundraiser Aim to Raise £6000 as a Poetic Temple contribution to the Centre’s £6million campaign. 

To use empowering Themes and inspire the do for self approach to the endeavour. To spread the awareness of Africa Centre to more Africans and African Diaspora. Poetic Temple are Poetry events that celebrate the exceptional.

Created by CEO of Mansa Harts Ltd Nat Nye The Lyrical Alkhemist and Debuting at H Club Covent Garden in 2018, they have received rave reviews from attendees in Shoreditch House and Soho House as well as The Queen of the South pub. These nights are set to inspire and entertain all who attend. With great music, top tier performances and open mic opportunities for those hungry for the platform. Nights include Poetic Temple, P.O.ET.S (People of Extraterrestrial Substance) In You & Oh and P.O.ET.S x The Africa Centre Poets P.O.ET.S are the people of extra terrestrial substance, gifted with poetry and other exceptional artistic skills. They use their tirelessly crafted otherworldly talents to gift humanity with insight and inspire them to be great. Poets x The Africa Centre x FUNDRAISER The Africa Centre is a BEAUTIFUL space famous for showcasing phenomenal works from talented artists over it’s 60 years a landmark reached in 2024.

With a special invitation from CEO Olu Alake, a passionate advocate for Africa and the great works coming from past and present diaspora and those on the continent. Poetic Temple’s P.O.ET.S have found a new home. A place serving Senegalese food by Little Baobab and drinks from a bar created by Maquis bar. Ticket holders enjoy great food, a little sip of something and are swept away by some high level word sound power. Open Mic Audiences can bring their favourite poem to share in the open mic or join in on the theme of the event. In addition, audiences can lock in the memory of the night with their very own merch; 20% of all ticket and merch sales will go towards the Africa Centre.
