Barbershop Talks: Real Conversations on Men’s Mental Health & Masculinity A panel discussion and open community chat that fosters meaningful conversation about Black men’s mental health. The Barbershop: Black Men Talk – In Celebration of Movember & International Men’s Day Barbershops have long been safe havens — spaces where Black men gather not only for a fresh trim, but for conversation, laughter, reflection, and truth-telling. In recognition of Movember and International Men’s Day 2025, The Young Africa Centre invites you to an evening of connection and conversation at The Africa Centre, exploring what it means to be a Black man today. This intimate event will bring together Black men of all ages, backgrounds, and life stages, along with professionals and allies in wellbeing, education, and advocacy, for an open and restorative dialogue on mental health, masculinity, and brotherhood.
